EIP 2018 REFLECTIONS: KAK SUVI
"What I learnt and obtained from this project was teamwork and undefined friendships among us. Even when our team is made up of students from different races, our team does not have any problem or issue due to that."
Okay..Actually I don’t
really find anything fun about this social engagement course as soon our
lectures announced about it.The first meet for social engagement itself our
lecture divided us into a few groups.In my group,I was only close to Linges
while with the other physic coursemate I am not that close.I collected all my
group members numbers and created whatsapp group.We discussed about the
organisation for our social engagement.I didn’t get to attend the first meet of
our group as I was in an urgent going back home.
I managed to attend the second meet and I as the co-coordinator of our project have to deal with the meet first as the coordinator was having a meeting that time and he promised to join the meet straight after his first meeting and he managed to keep his promise.During the meeting,we planned the activities and slots that we gonna insert into this project as it should implements physics knowledge and at the same time we have to use reusable item which is the toys.Our technical team revealed the teaser of our project and the created social media which is Instagram.We divided the activities to be done such as the Quantum Race and also the Physics Showtime accordingly and each week we had continuous meet at Kolej Kediaman Tuanku Bahiyah to update our progress for the slots given.
On the event day,we was in a rush as we had a meet with the lecturer to present ouractivities that we gonna do at the school that we choose to conduct our project which was SMK Teknik KL.As soon as we reach at the school,we met the teacher in charge for this project and she brought us to the venue selected for this project;their media room.The target group for our project that we gave name as Empowering Interest in Physics was the Form 4 students.The students themselves volunteered to register to our project and that made us touched at the first place itself.The first slot;Ice Breaking seasion went well as each fasilitators were given a group to lead and that night went well with that session.
On our second day at SMKTKL,our team were quite tired as we went early in the morning to avoid late due to traffic jams as we were travelling back and fro to the school.We conducted a zumba as a morning recreation for the students.As soon as the zumba,students had their breakfast and we continued to the next slot which we all waited the most;the Quantum Race.Fasilitators prepared their station games very well and that slot was a success as most of the students said the most interesting and fun session was the Quantum Race and also Physics Showtime that we divided into two phases;that night and the third day morning.As time passes,our team was exhausted and tired but we managed to put a smile on our face and continued the project. Our bond becomes stronger.
On our third day,the Physics Showtime second phase went well and our entire team was in an excited mood as its our end of slots for the project.In the afternoon,we had the launching and closing ceremony of our project monitored by our lectures and also by the Head teacher of SMKTKL.And that was the end of our project.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our lectures for giving us the chance to conduct this project.And to our coordinator of this project,Azman,you have been a great leader.To all my team mates,this is not possible without all your continuous supports and thank you for coping up with all my weakness and turn it to be a strength.Love you all so much!!!
